1. About Relayn AI

Relayn AI is a voice AI service operated by Joel Maundu ("we", "us", "our"), a sole trader based in Portugal. We design, build, and configure AI-powered inbound call systems for home service businesses using the Retell AI platform and related tools.

By accessing this website or engaging our services you agree to these Terms.

2. Nature of the service

We build Voice AI call agents that answer inbound calls on behalf of your business, qualify callers, and book jobs. The AI is powered by Retell AI's platform.

Initial client arrangement (first 5 clients): For the first five clients, AI agents are built and configured directly within the client's own Retell AI account using the client's own Retell API credentials. The client retains full ownership of the AI agent, the phone number, all call data, and all recordings. Joel Maundu acts solely as the configuration and setup provider. No client data is stored by Relayn AI beyond what is necessary to complete the setup.

This arrangement is subject to change as the business scales. Clients will be notified in advance of any material changes to how their service is structured or where their data is held.

3. Client responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring your use of AI call agents complies with the laws of your jurisdiction, including any requirements to inform callers they may be speaking with an AI.
In the United States, several states require one- or two-party consent for call recording. You are responsible for compliance with applicable wiretapping and consumer protection laws.
You are responsible for maintaining your own Retell AI account and associated costs where applicable.

4. No warranty on uptime

Relayn AI's call functionality depends on Retell AI's platform infrastructure. We make no warranty regarding call availability, uptime, or latency. Any service interruptions caused by Retell AI are outside our control. We will communicate known outages as promptly as possible.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Joel Maundu and Relayn AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the service, including missed calls, lost revenue, or data loss. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 30 days preceding the claim.

6. Intellectual property

The Relayn AI website design, copy, and branding are owned by Joel Maundu. AI agents built on a client's Retell AI account using the client's credentials are the client's property. Any proprietary configuration templates or prompt designs created by Joel Maundu remain his intellectual property and are licensed (not sold) to the client for use within their account.

7. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal and, where applicable, the laws of the European Union. For US-based clients, disputes relating specifically to the services delivered in the United States may also be subject to applicable US federal or state law. We will always seek to resolve disputes amicably before any formal proceedings.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the business model evolves (including when we transition from the initial 5-client arrangement to a hosted/managed model). Existing clients will receive at least 30 days' written notice before any material change takes effect.
